Our final day in Rome. The Coliseum is one of the more impressive structures I've ever seen. I could have spend the whole day walking around it. The naked cherub with the bow is Eros - they had an exhibit on the theme of erotic love inside. The hard-to-photograph and thus hard-to-see etchings are from the inside of the Coliseum. Permanent seats were owned by the aristocrats, and their names were scratched into the marble. On the walls were etchings of the various events. The ones I tried to photograph are of the gladiators.
